Welcome to our popular recipe collection! What is a cuisine site without recipes? We have created and collected hundreds of authentic, delicious German recipes which you can use for special occasions and for daily menu planning. Every month new recipes join our collection - some come from famous chefs with award-winning restaurants in the United States and Canada, others come direct from Germany. In addition, recipes from readers and fans of German foods (like you!) are featured in the Recipe Exchange, with full credit to each cook. Also, be on the lookout for our occasional recipe contests.

Food From Germany has gathered together a collection of recipes created by fans of German food during the "Cook Your Way to Germany" recipe contest in 2002. Please note that the recipes are, for the most part, unedited and submitted by amateur cooks.
