Marinated Cheese

(Handkäse mit Musik)

Ingredients:

1 8-ounce Handkäse
2 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons oil
salt
white pepper
1 teaspoon mustard
3 onions
3 cups cider vinegar

Preparation:

Cut cheese in slices. Prepare marinade. Combine vinegar and oil, mix well and add salt, pepper, mustard. Peel onions, chop and add to marinade. Add cider vinegar and mix well. Pour marinade over sliced cheese and leave to stand before serving.
